EDSAN Adaptive is an independent New York fashion label designing elevated, everyday clothing for wheelchair users and people with disabilities — pieces that fit a seated life without ever looking like they were made to.
EDSAN started with a closet that never cooperated. Buttons that took ten minutes. Waistbands that gaped the moment you sat down. Beautiful clothes that simply were not built for the way our founder actually got dressed each morning.
So we started over — from the body, seated. We studied how a shirt should close with one hand, where a trouser should rise for someone who spends the day in a chair, and how a jacket could look sharp on the street and still slip on without a struggle. The adaptive engineering is real and considered; the styling is unmistakably New York.
We are still small, and we like it that way. It means we can listen closely, change a pattern because one customer told us it dug in, and keep prices fair while we grow. EDSAN is dressing, reimagined for every body — and we are only getting started.
